The ski domain of Val Cenis
The biggest ski domain of High Maurienne Vanoise is located at the feet of the legendary Mont-Cenis pass, historical border between France and Italy. 125km of slopes on 1500m of difference of height. A large playground, no matter what your level or goal is. The snow amount is generous between december and april due to the famous “retour d’est” a meteorological condition that brings lot of snow in a short period of time.
Beginners or experienced skiers will find their happiness with the variety of ski types, with some connected picture spots and the canopee summit; circular steel platform overhanging the frozen water of the Mont Cenis Lake.
From a hill to another, evolve in altitude or inside the cembro pine and larch forests.
